Cleaning Procedures - Carpet
Spotting-
Special cleaning agents will be applied where necessary in attempts
to remove persistent spots and spills.
Is it a spot or a stain? Stains are irreversible and can be caused
by bleach, hot beverages, dyed soft drinks (like red punch), herbal
teas, urine, toner, drain cleaners, acne medications,make up,
exercise machines, recliner chairs, etc. A spot can become a stain
if we don't clean it quickly. Food dyes can frequently be removed
with success if treated immediately. Please note; spots can become
stains in 30 minutes if not treated.
Preconditioning-
This is the application of specifically formulated surfactants
to increase soil suspension, thus minimizing moisture retention
and allows for better cleaning of the carpet. This is applied
to general areas to be cleaned.
Thorough
Cleaning- All areas are custom cleaned and rinsed with softened
hot water to remove all traces of the cleaning agent.
Nap/Pile
Setting- A final grooming will aid in restoring the fluff
and set of carpet fibers for maximum resilience. It assures faster
drying and provides a finished, detailed look.
Minimum
Dry Time- We will ensure that the carpet is dried and returned
to normal use with-in a reasonable time after cleaning with proper
air flow and/or ventilation(please follow directions given). Dry
times are normally 4 to 6 hours, depending on the type of carpet,
humidity, and temperature. (See Humidity Alert page)
We offer the following services
Vacant Home Service - You pre-vacuum or we can do it for
you for an additional fee.
Budget
Service - You pre-vacuum and remove all the furniture possible.
The technician will clean all open areas as specified above.
Value Service
- We pre-vacuum, we will move all the furniture and place
them on protective blocking.
Gold Service
- We will pre-vacuum, move the furniture specified, clean
under it, replace the furniture on protective blocking. And we
will also apply a carpet protectant to the carpeting.
We can add rotary extraction to any of the above packages for
an extra fee. Rotary extraction provides a deeper cleaning for
heavy traffic areas.
